How to Install a Simple Plank Dock Similar to MacOs on Ubuntu - One of the conveniences provided by Mac OS is the availability of a menu bar at the bottom center of the screen that we can easily access. With this bar we are given an interface that is easier than windows. 

Another language to call this menu bar is Dock. On Linux there is also this dock application but it is not installed by default. To be able to use this Dock, one of the names is Plank. you can see an example as follows:

Install Plank using Terminal

I will share how to install Plank. In order to install, please open a terminal, then use the following command or command.

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install plank

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ricotz/docky
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install plank

//Version Check
$ plank --version

//Run Plank 
$ plank

//Remove Plank
$ sudo apt-get remove plank

The icon used is Mojave-Circle. You can download  here.  To be able to open the menu to set the Plank, hover the icon or to the menu, press CTRL + Right Mouse Click, then you can customize the plank either icon, type of plank display and others.
